As we embark on this journey to expand our services and impact, we are seeking a highly motivated and versatile intern to join our team. This role will offer a unique opportunity to be involved in various aspects of private equity, entrepreneurship, healthcare and general management, administration, and strategy.

Position Overview:

The Entrepreneurial/Management Intern (EMI) will work closely with the practice co-founder and COO to assist in the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of our first and subsequent practices. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about private equity, entrepreneurship and management and are looking for hands-on experience in starting and managing businesses that might be scaled. An interest in healthcare is a plus, but not necessary. The EMI will gain valuable insight into private equity and entrepreneurship as well as the healthcare industry. At the end of this internship, the successful candidate should expect to be well versed in the life of an entrepreneur and manager of a start-up. In addition, the EMI will experience all aspects of the practice including administrative functions, financial management, and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for practice growth and improvement.
Support bookkeeping and financial management tasks, including invoicing, budgeting,
and financial reporting.
Participate in the administration of the practice, scheduling, patient communication, and office management.
Contribute to marketing and outreach efforts to increase referrals, patient engagement, and community awareness.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and
enhancement of services.
Collaborate with medical staff and external partners to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
Assist in the evaluation and optimization of operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a 4-year undergraduate or graduate degree program.
Strong interest in private equity, entrepreneurship and/or healthcare management.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with medical professionals and patients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
Availability to commit to a full-time or part-time schedule for a minimum of 3 months.
