Position Title: Entrepreneurial/Management Intern

We are a rapidly growing healthcare practice specializing in minimally invasive procedures to treat Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), uterine fibroids and joint pain. Our mission is to provide innovative, effective treatments in a compassionate and caring environment. As we embark on this journey to expand our services and impact, we are seeking a highly motivated and versatile intern to join our team. This role will offer a unique opportunity to be involved in various aspects of private equity, entrepreneurship, healthcare and general management, administration, and strategy.
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for practice growth and improvement.
- Support bookkeeping and financial management tasks, including invoicing, budgeting,
and financial reporting. - Participate in the administration of the practice, scheduling, patient communication, and office management.
- Contribute to marketing and outreach efforts to increase referrals, patient engagement, and community awareness.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and
enhancement of services. - Collaborate with medical staff and external partners to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
- Assist in the evaluation and optimization of operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a 4-year undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Strong interest in private equity, entrepreneurship and/or healthcare management.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with medical professionals and patients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
- Availability to commit to a full-time or part-time schedule for a minimum of 3 months.
